# Your privacy rights

VoilàIQ is operated by Oblik s. r. o., Bratislava, Slovakia, the controller for account and billing data. This page explains, in plain language, the rights you have over your personal data, how to use them, and where to complain if you think we got it wrong. It also applies if you are not a VoilàIQ user but your name appears in media coverage we analyse.

## Your eight rights

Each right applies under the laws listed with it.

Access GDPR Art. 15, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Ask whether we hold personal data about you and get a copy, with an explanation of how we use it. Signed in: Export my data.

Rectification GDPR Art. 16, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Have incorrect or incomplete data corrected. Signed-in users edit their profile and business data themselves. Invoices already issued are not altered; we correct them with a credit note.

Erasure GDPR Art. 17, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Have your data deleted. When you close your account, it stays usable until the deletion date shown (30 days after you confirm) and is then permanently deleted. Backup copies are overwritten within 30 days after that, and deleted data is never restored from a backup into the live service without being deleted again. We keep only what the law requires: invoices and accounting records for the statutory period, and minimal proof of the consents you gave. Aggregated, anonymised statistics are not personal data.

Restriction of processing GDPR Art. 18, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Ask us to pause using your data, for example while we check whether it is accurate or while we review an objection.

Portability GDPR Art. 20, UK GDPR

Get the data you gave us and created in VoilàIQ in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON).

Objection GDPR Art. 21, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Object to direct marketing at any time, and we stop. Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and we stop unless we have compelling grounds that override yours.

Automated decisions GDPR Art. 22, UK GDPR

We make no solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. VoilàIQ analyses media coverage about brands; it does not make decisions about people.

Withdraw consent GDPR Art. 7, UK GDPR, ZZPL

Optional consents can be withdrawn at any time in your settings and in Cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it.

Not a VoilàIQ user?

We analyse publicly available media coverage about brands. If you are a journalist or a person named in an article, your name may appear in that analysis. You can object or ask us to remove you: choose "I'm not a VoilàIQ user" below. We will stop showing you in author and person views and exclude you from future analysis.

## Send a request

Tell us who you are and what you need. We confirm your email before acting on it.

Response time

Within 30 days of confirming your email. In complex cases we may extend by up to 60 days, and we tell you within the first 30.

Identity check

Signed in: your session is enough. Otherwise we send a confirmation link to your email. We ask for more only if that isn't enough, and never more than strictly necessary.

## Complain to a supervisory authority

If you think we handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to a data protection authority.
